ACCOMMODATION - THE ECO LODGE

The Kent Downs Eco Lodge at Coldblow Farm offers friendly, family-run self-catering accommodation in the heart of Kent.  Overlooking the North Kent Downs, Coldblow Farm is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close to the county town of Maidstone and within easy reach of the Kent coast and many visitor attractions

The farm and its equestrian complex offer easy access to local footpaths, woodland walks and bridleways offering stunning views of the local countryside.

London and Dover are quickly reached via the M20 and M2.

Flint Lodge offers 4 star (confirmation of grading awaited), self-catering accommodation and is awaiting Mobility One Accessibility rating.

The Lodge is a new Eco-build with a ground source heat pump providing ample heating – even we were surprised how warm this system can be! Then there are light tunnels providing additional light to the wet rooms and corridor. All the flint work around the exterior of the building were from flints dug up from the fields on the farm – very hard work it was too! Later on we hope to incorporate rainwater recycling which is already partially installed.
